Dog Friendly Open Space
This icon in the title area means that the place in question is believed to be open to dogs.
Currently we apply this icon only to trails and open spaces generally considered to be open to dogs, at least in part. Please note that just because dogs are permitted in a place doesn't mean it is necessarily a safe or enjoyable place for your pet. In applying this icon we have either visited the area or have reference material claiming that dogs are permitted there. Please let us know if we have something wrong.
This icon is not meant to be a recommendation for pet use of the area. It just means we believe they are allowed there.
